I was there June 2009 and personally I like what I have seen and I intend to go back and experience their New Year. I was in Shiraz then Esfahan and went to Shamal. I have seen wonderful places on my way to Shamal and beautiful structures in Esfahan, Tehran and Shiraz. People there are very polite and courteous. It was summer when I was there but weather was good especially in Esfahan. I have seen desert but definitely they have greenery. I absolutely agree with Hanieh.
